How do I turn call notes into action items and a follow-up email?
Log the call in Briefcall by typing or speaking your notes. Apple Intelligence on your iPhone then writes a summary with action items, a suggested follow-up date and call sentiment, and drafts a follow-up email you can copy or share. Drafts and summaries are part of Premium; logging and action items are free.

How the options compare
- Apple Notes plus your email app: Free and familiar. You summarise and write the email yourself.
- A general-purpose AI chat app: Can draft an email from pasted notes, but you paste the notes in each time, and your notes go to that service. Briefcall keeps them on your device.
- A CRM: Better for team pipelines. Heavier for one person who just needs to remember what they promised.
Where Briefcall fits
Action items become a checklist you can tick off, even from Siri or Spotlight without opening the app. Contact Intel shows call patterns and open items per person, and optional reconnect nudges appear when someone has gone quiet.
You can also turn on optional reminders: log a call when one ends, add notes while they are fresh, and a daily digest of open items.
AI summaries and drafts need an iPhone with Apple Intelligence. There is no account and no server.
What it costs
